Does your child have problems with literacy and numeracy?
Or perhaps you know an adult migrant who struggles with English?

At edutute, I am committed to tutoring children and adults, and helping students reach their full potential.

Supporting a ‘back-to-basics’ philosophy I am a qualified and experienced primary school teacher with over fifteen years of tutoring experience.

Students from pre-school to year 10 as well as adults learning English as a Second Language (ESL) are catered for at edutute. I offer programs in literacy, numeracy, beginners to intermediate school French and English for adults.

I have tutored many children and adults from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities and am passionate about encouraging and motivating them in a caring environment.

Being a mother of two, I have been involved with the education of my own children from primary school through to university and I understand the pressures involved.

Mornington tutoring

Over several years Stella Abeyaratne tutored my daughters, Gabrielle, Isabella and Georgina, in Literacy and Numeracy, respectively during late primary to early senior school years. Stella’s patient, systemic and positive engaging approach, together with constant encouragement and clear goals and expectations, provided the girls with a fantastic environment in which to focus and address particular weaknesses in these subjects. There were clear and measurable improvements from Stella’s efforts, whom the girls developed a lovely rapport and respect. I have no hesitation in recommending Stella for your child.

Mt Eliza tutoring

The work Stella and Jack achieved together particularly enhanced his creative writing to a whole new level and he certainly came away from all his sessions confident and challenged to take his work to the next level. Stella was wonderful in providing all that I was hoping for and I have no doubt her contribution played an important role in the high score Jack achieved and the subsequent offer of scholarship he received.
